What better way to toast Grilled Cheese Month than with some decadent grilled cheese and wine pairings? We made a couple of classic grilled cheese sandwiches using Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Pepper Jack Cheese, and Medium White Cheddar Cheese and paired them with our favorite glasses of vino! If you’re looking for the right way to gussy up your next grilled cheese sandwich, try one of these wine pairings for instant grilled cheese sophistication.

Note: We used two slices of cheese on buttermilk bread, but if you’re craving more flavor, or just a more filling sandwich, try adding some meat, veggies or even fruit to your sandwich!

Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Pinot Grigio Wine
Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese + Pinot Grigio
Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese is the grilled cheese work horse. No matter which way you slice it, or what ingredients you decide to stuff in the sandwich with it, this melty cheddar just hits the spot. For a grilled cheese this good, a mild and refreshing wine, like Pinot Grigio is just what you need!
Pepper Jack Cheese and Pinot Noir Wine
Tillamook Pepper Jack Cheese + Pinot Noir
It seems that spicy Pepper Jack has finally met it’s match. Just like this cheese, Pinot Noir is notorious for it’s bold flavor. The two flavors combine to create a deliciously strong duo that can conquer the world…or at least conquer your dinner table!
Medium White Cheddar Cheese and Rosé Wine
Tillamook Medium White Cheddar Cheese
 + Rosé
This pairing is a match fit for a bright, summer day! The crisp and fruity rosé is the perfect gulp to wash down a creamy bite of this White Cheddar sandwich. Warning: this pairing will have you daydreaming of long and relaxing summertime picnics!
