One of my favorite Oregon products to enjoy with Tillamook is Kelly’s Jelly made in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Kelly’s Habanero Pepper Jelly is a delicious blend of fresh Habanero and Bell Peppers, the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. We’ve used it to spice up our grilled cheese sandwiches and top Cheddar Cheese Cornbread Cupcakes, so we figured it was time to try a dollop on some Tillamook Ice Cream. I used Kelly’s Strawbanero Pepper Jelly this time. Made with Oregon Strawberries and Fresh Habanero Peppers, this jelly has a sweet flavor with a warm heat finish. I decided to give it a taste on top of one vanilla, one berry, and one chocolate flavor of Tillamook Ice Cream, by topping each serving of ice cream with a tablespoon of jelly.
