We’re all familiar with the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Children and adults of all ages have been enjoying this tasty combination for years. This sandwich is quick and easy to throw together, which is what we all need during those early school and work mornings.
With the rising trend of peanut butter and cheddar sandwiches (Don’t believe me? Ask around, it’s pretty popular!), we thought it was time to combine the two ideas into one protein packed vegetarian sandwich. Four simple ingredients, one sweet and salty sandwich – don’t knock it ‘til you try it!
One delicious sandwich
2 slices of bread (I used Dave’s Killer Bread’s Oregon Grains – a personal favorite!)
1 slice of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of blackberry jelly
Spread the peanut butter on one of the bread slices, and the jelly on the other. Place a slice of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese on one side, and close your sandwich up. Enjoy!
