There’s a holiday for just about everything it seems – but I’m not one to complain, especially when they involve ice cream! Today is National Chocolate Milkshake Day, so join me and celebrate!

I thought I’d shake things up a bit and try out some flavor additions to a creamy and delicious chocolate ice cream base. I used Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream for mine, but traditional Chocolate Ice Cream would be delicious as well!

Here are three recipes I tried out – all delicious and unique! Get out the blender and give them a taste!

 

Banana Mudslide Shake
- 2 scoops of Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream
- ¼ cup nonfat milk
- 1 banana sliced

 

Peppermint Chocolate Shake
- 2 scoops of Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream
- ¼ cup nonfat milk
- 2 teaspoons Peppermint Extract (you can add more to your liking)

 

Kahlua Chocolate Shake (for the adults!)
- 2 scoops of Tillamook Mudslide Ice Cream
- ¼ cup nonfat milk
- 1 tablespoon Kahlua (you can add more to your liking)
