Happy Strawberry Ice Cream Day!! Of course a great way to celebrate would be with a big ol’ bowl of Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream, but we decided to take it one step further this year by making our own frozen Strawberry treat.

Does anything sound more deliciously refreshing than frozen strawberry Greek yogurt? It’s tangy, sweet perfection! We decided to put our new Tillamook Oregon Strawberry Farmstyle Greek Yogurt to the ultimate test by popping it in the freezer.

We weren’t quite sure how long to freeze the yogurt, so we checked on it every so often. It wasn’t quite solid enough until it had been in the freezer for 2 hours, at which point it was slightly harder than the consistency of soft-serve frozen yogurt. Just for fun, we decided to keep it in the fridge overnight. In the morning the yogurt was hard as rock! So, if you want to enjoy this treat right away, make sure it’s not in the freezer for longer than 2 or 3 hours.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Total time: 2 hours

Yield: 1 serving

1 container (5.3 oz) Tillamook Farmstyle Oregon Strawberry Greek Yogurt

1. Open the yogurt and give it a good stir to mix in all that berry goodness.

2. Cover the top with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer.

3. Every half hour stir the yogurt again to make sure it is freezing evenly.

4. After it reaches the desired consistency, probably around the 2 hour mark, take it out of the freezer and enjoy!
