Every burger is unique to the person controlling the grill. With summer almost here, and May being National Hamburger Month, we wanted to share our favorite ways to jazz up a boring burger with our favorite Tillamook Cheese!
Cheeseburger Recipe
Matt is the grill master of the Tillamook Tours Cheese Tour and started us off by grilling our handmade patties. After cooking up everything we needed, and melting our cheese to perfection, we started putting together our concoctions.

Matt’s cheeseburger started off with a slice of Tillamook Pepper Jack, along with mushrooms, red and green peppers, avocado and some bacon to top it off.  His favorite addition, besides the awesome kick of the Tillamook Pepper Jack, was the freshness of the veggies. Cooked on the grill with the burgers, they sizzled up nicely!
Pepper Jack Cheeseburger RecipeRebecca wanted something more simplistic and garden fresh. With Tillamook Smoked Black Pepper Cheese you don’t need much else to make a burger great! She added some arugula (and maybe a bit of hidden bacon…) to make sure this concoction was as green as it could get!

The best part of our BBQing adventure was the suggestion we received from a Tillamook fan we met in Dallas! Sydney met up with us on the Tillamook Tour and told us about her favorite cheeseburger combination. Obviously we took her great advice and ran with it! It’s definitely a classic she was able to make her own.
Throw a Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Slice on a veggie patty along with some tomato and lettuce and you are good to go.  As Sydney put it, she used Tillamook Sharp Cheddar because, “It packs a punch!” It was a great way to switch it up and help make someone else’s favorite one of ours too!
