When I was a horse guide at the Neskowin Stables in Neskowin, Tillamook County, Oregon -
I would go to the Neskowin Store to get a double scoop cone of Brown Cow ice cream - one of the scoops was for my horse - Tuffy - who loved Brown Cow - as did I. I miss the name - I know you have changed the name to Udderly Chocolate. It's the best!

Tillamook Team

Hi Becky,

Tuffy is one lucky horse! We voluntarily changed the name in January 2005 because we learned that it was already in use by another company. We figured as long as it tasted the same, what’s the harm in calling it something different? Glad you are still able to enjoy it today!

My favorite was "white licorice" -- otherwise, strawberry.

July 25th, 2012 at 8:01 am

My favorite is Lemon Blueberry Pie. Unfortunately, Tillamook did away with it a year or so ago and I can't even get it at the factory now. Boooo. They need to bring it back...its the best (even better than my second favorite: chocolate peanut butter).

Hi km and Brooke,

Even though your favorite flavors are now gone, glad to hear that you have found other flavors you like. Hopefully you can grow to loves these just as much as! White Licorice and Lemon Blueberry Pie will be missed, but there are many other flavors waiting for you!

Do you make a lemon ice cream? I had some when I was in Oregon and it was the most delicious flavor. It was not a sherbert. Everyone thinks I've gone mad over this stuff because I can't find it. Tell me that you make it?

August 26th, 2012 at 7:12 pm

Tillamook Team

Hi Robyn!

Thanks for being a Tillamook fan! Unfortunately, Tillamook does not make a lemon ice cream. Here is a list of all the tasty ice cream flavors we do make! I hope that helps!

What happened to Moose Tracks?

Hi Marge,

Thanks for the question! I’m actually not sure we ever had a Moose Tracks flavor. Could it be from a different brand? I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful!

I do believe the Moose Tracks was made by Blue Bunny, and I think they got rid of it.

Took an emergency trip to Oregon in April, fortunately the emergency situation got a lot better, so made it to Cannon Beach and the Tillamook Factory!

It's killing me!!! Absolutely LOVED the cheese curds, but can't get them in Phoenix. Winco has tons of Tillamook cheeses and ice cream, so I am moderately appeased :)

If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend not only the factory tour in Oregon, but also hunt down the ice cream and cheeses. ALL flavors are awesome so far!

Hi Deb,

Thanks so much sharing your comment with us! I'm happy to hear that you were able to enjoy some Cheese Curds at the Cheese Factory and that you found many of our cheese and ice cream flavors at your local Winco. That's great news!

Thanks again for being a Tillamook fan!

On May 3, 2013, Marge asked about Moose Tracks. It does still exist, even though I can't find it on your website. Our local Safeway has it and it is fantastic! Callie, you should definitely try it. It'll knock your socks off! Comes in vanilla AND chocolate. Van's my fave!

September 19th, 2014 at 10:12 am

Tillamook Team

Hi April!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, Moose Tracks does still exist, although Tillamook doesn't make this flavor. We don't have a flavor exactly like Moose Tracks, but you might like our Chocolate Peanut Butter or Tillamook Mudslide! Thanks again for sharing your comment with us!

My favorite flavor is chocolate, which is also the favorite of many other people. So why then does Tillamook not make a chocolate flavor ice cream??

Note: Mud Slide is NOT chocolate. Chocolate Peanut-butter is NOT chocolate. CHOCOLATE is chocolate. So why not make an ice cream flavor that is just chocolate?

Hi John,
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the blog. I think you'll be happy to hear that we do make a Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream that sounds exactly like what you're looking for! Here's a link where you can find more information and look up where to buy it close to home:

Will Fireside smores be coming out any time soon? We just got Tillamook ice cream in Colorado and we LOVE it. We are on the search for Fireside Smores every time we go to the store.

Hi Brittany,
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the blog. Have you tried searching with our Where to Buy tool yet? Sometimes a flavor is closer to home than you think, and it's just a matter of which store to check at. If you're still not seeing Fireside S'mores close to home, you can fill out our product request form. It's up to each store to decide which of our flavors they'll carry, and they actually prefer to hear directly from consumers like you :)
I hope this helps and that you'll be scooping up some Fireside S'mores Ice Cream soon!

Visited Tillimook in the 70s with 4 children who were mesmerized by your demo cow. My favorite was the gift shop. So happy to see Tillamook ice cream, cheese & butter in my Morgan Hill Calif town, but today discovered you make Espresso Mocha, a flavor my 76 year old taste buds are craving. Please send it to California ASAP

candice johnson

My favorite flavor is Coffee Almond Fudge, which is often sold out so others must also agree. Is this one of your most popular flavors? I hope you'll continue making it.

Have you ever considered making a Tin Roof version with vanilla ice cream, salted peanuts and a ribbon of fudge?

Even a tad less sugar for all your flavors would please me. Thank you for making a quality product!!!

June 28th, 2015 at 6:23 pm

Tillamook Team

Hi Candice,
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback on our ice creams. Coffee Almond Fudge is a pretty popular flavor, you've got great taste :) I don't know of any plans to part with that tasty flavor, so do not despair!

I'll be sure to share your other suggestions with the larger team. We love hearing directly from our consumers.

I'm not a big sweets guy at all. For example, when I go to birthday parties I very rarely eat cake and if I eat ice cream, it's a very small portion. This is not the case with my favorite forgot Udderly Chocolate! Are you guys sure that you don't put anything addicting inside of this ice cream? My girlfriend and I eat it like it's going out of style and out local store that we frequent is constantly out of stock of this flavor so we can't be the only ones! I know this flavor is around to stay and that makes me happy! I'm very curious to know which flavors are purchased the most AKA the most popular flavor! Please email this information to me if you have it. Thank you!

Hi Brandon,
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the blog. I'm so happy to hear that you like our Udderly Chocolate flavor so much. While I don't have exact data to share on which flavor is our most popular, Udderly Chocolate is certainly up there. Some other fan favorites are Tillamook Mudslide, Marionberry Pie, Oregon Hazelnut & Salted Caramel, Old-Fashioned Vanilla, Mint Chocolate Chip and Oregon Strawberry (just to name a few).
Thanks again for being such a fan of our ice cream.

Im glad you guys brought Tillamook to California. My favorite flavor is the Marionberry Pie . It is so creamy and tastes like an actual pie in an ice cream lol.... I do think that you guys can use a few more new flavors like Honey crisp Apple Pie Crumble & Sweet Cherry Pie . !!! I love this ice cream !!! hope to see more flavors in the future

We moved to Oregon in December and fell in lover with your Ditch Chocolate ice cream and in the last few weekss we cannot find it anywhere. Please say it's not been discontinued ..

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your comment and welcome to Oregon! It's a beautiful state, isn't it?! I have some good news for you this Monday morning... While you might not see "Dutch Chocolate" on the shelf as it was originally named, our "Chocolate Ice Cream" uses that same recipe! Folks were looking for plain chocolate ice cream from us and couldn't find it so we decided to simplify the same. If you're looking for a double dose of chocolate, we also have "Udderly Chocolate" which has inclusions of chocolate flakes. Hope that makes your day!

My favorite is the salted caramel hazelnut. One of the best ice creams I've ever had. The white chocolate raspberry truffle is good too. The cookies and cream was OK but I wasn't crazy about the choice of vanilla ice cream. The strawberry is excellent as is the udderly chocolate. Just today I bought the coffee almond fudge and I have to say I was very disappointed. There was zero coffee flavor. The ice cream just tasted like maple syrup. If the ice cream had a more espresso-y flavor I think you'd have a winner. Also if there was a blueberry crumble pie ice cream with big pie crust pieces it would be a dream come true. Haagen daaz used to have one but it was a limited edition. Overall however I am a big fan.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for sharing! It's great to hear you have tried so many of our flavors. I don't know of any plans to make a blueberry crumble pie flavor, but it sounds great! I will definitely pass the suggestion along to our Product Development team. That sounds like a good flavor to release during the summer. Thanks again for stopping by our blog!

Hi Nick,

That sounds delicious! A few years back we did actually make a flavor called "Sticky Buns" which was essentially a cinnamon roll ice cream, but it has since been discontinued. I'll let our Product Development team know you want them to give it another chance! Thanks for the suggestion.

We are down here in Texas and absolutely love your ice cream but please add more flavors.
It is getting boring having the same flavors over and over again. At least add a flavor of the month!

January 7th, 2017 at 10:26 am

Tillamook Team

Hi BB,

That is something to speak to your store manager about! We are certainly to sell more flavors in Texas if store manager order it from us. I would suggest asking your store manager and their regional buyer to order new flavors of Tillamook Ice Cream. Please feel free to use our product request template, which you can fill in, print out, and hand directly to a store manager.

I hope that helps!
