  • Udderly Chocolate, white and milk chocolate ice cream swirl together with a flurry of chocolate flakes.
  • French Vanilla, rich, creamy, custardy – say oui if you want more!

Thanks for coming to California. Five years ago we were visiting Oregon and stopped at the cheese factory and had lunch, we had your ice cream for dessert and raved how we thought it was the best we had ever tasted. I was in Vons today and discovered your ice cream and bought Vanilla Bean & Mudslide and they are great just like we remembered them. Thanks

Please, is it possible to get the Caramel Butter Pecan in Southern California? Surely we don’t need three different vanillas here. I miss the Caramel Butter Pecan more than anything else!

    Jala Says:

Hi there, Cathy. Each store chooses the flavors they carry. If there are stores near you that carry some flavors of our ice cream, they will be able to get all of them. I might suggest you contacting your local store and requesting the flavors you’d like to see them carry. I’ve heard it works sometimes!

    Cathy Says:

Jala, at the top of this page it is clearly stated that six flavors will be available in California. None of those flavors are Caramel Butter Pecan. My Vons in Southern California carries all six of those above listed flavors.

Are you saying that list is incorrect and other flavors ARE available to the Southern California market? Please clarify.

And we really do NOT need for half of all the available flavors to be some form of vanilla.

    Jala Says:

Hi there, Cathy. Thanks for your patience and I apologize if my response was confusing or if I wasn’t clear. The six flavors that are available in California right now are our best selling flavors. We’ll be making more available soon, so just be on the lookout! Also, keep in mind that no matter what flavors we offer, your local stores decides which ones they want to carry. Stay in touch with your Vons and make sure they know that, when its available to them, you’d like to see Caramel Butter Pecan on their shelves. To be honest, that’s my favorite flavor too :-)

To the Kindly Folks at Tillamook,

My family and I are very thankful to finally have ice cream again; we had altogether stopped buying it due to the way they were treating the cows. Thank you for caring! We are hoping that more and more people will begin to understand the importance of right living…for all of our sakes!

    Margaret Says:

Please make Mountain Huckleberry available in Southern California. We visited the factory in Oregon a few years ago and had some Mountain Huckleberry and Mudslide and WOW what great ice cream. We were sad to hear that we weren’t able to get in SoCal. But the other day while in Vons I spotted the Tillamook ice cream and was delighted. Of course Mudslide was the first thing I grab along with the Vanilla Bean. Thank you for sending your ice cream to SoCal. Sure would like to get my hands on some Huckleberry though.

    Katy Says:

    Hi Margaret,

Thanks so much for sharing! Mountain Huckleberry is one of my favorites as well :) I’m so glad you’re able to find our other flavors in your local store, and the best way to get them to carry Mountain Huckleberry is to ask your store manager, since they choose which flavors they stock.

Good luck! And keep us posted!

    Hi Susan,

Thank you so much for your note! We believe that healthy cows produce quality, wholesome milk, and that the best milk makes the best dairy products, like ice cream! Thanks to you and your family for supporting our farmers (and their well-cared for cows!) :)

When will Tillamook ice cream be coming to Illinois? I’m originally from Oregon and all I’ve been craving this pregnancy is your Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor but I can’t get any :(

    Katy Says:

Hi Arianna, thanks so much for reaching out here on the blog! I’m not sure when we’ll be shipping out to Illinois, but it never hurts for you to ask your local store!

    Sally Says:

I was born and raised in Oregon, I lived there 44 years. I moved to SoCal 7 years ago and have missed Tillamook Ice Cream. I was so happy that I started crying when I saw Tillamook Ice Cream at my local Vons. I bought two flavors and brought them home and said to my husband ” I just bought a little bit of “home” — Tillamook Ice Cream!”

  20. avatar
    Katy Says:

Hi Sally, we are as excited to ship Tillamook Ice Cream to California as you were to find it! Thanks for sharing your loaf for our ice cream here on the blog. I’m so glad we were able to give you a little piece of home :)

    Heidi Says:

I was born and raised in Newberg Oregon and visited the Tillamook Cheese factory many times growing up. Many years later I am living in Livermore, CA (northern California not far from San Francisco). I see you are now selling Tillamook Ice Cream in California, as Safeway, my kids will be so very excited. I haven’t seen it in the Safeway store in Livermore even though your website indicates it is sold there. Do you know if there are for sure plans to send it to the Safeway? The zipcode is 94550. Can we order on line from you and do you ship icecream in dry ice?
    Thank you!

  22. avatar
    Katy Says:

Hi Heidi, thanks for reading! Since stores choose which products they carry, my best advice is to check with your local store to see if they have any plans to stock our ice cream. Although we ship many of our cheese from the online shop, we don’t ship ice cream :(

Let me know if you have any more questions! Thanks again!

We love your ice cream and have been waiting a long time for it to get to So Cal. We were in Portland a couple of weeks ago and decided to bring back a couple of gallons in my luggage (packed in dry ice) of course TSA inspected it. I can’t wait to go check it out at the stores posted here. Blueberry Cheesecake and Marionberry Pie, please. BTW, TSA confiscated my Tillamook Yogurt before I could try it :(

    Laura Says:

    Hi Jean,

That’s some dedication to bring Tillamook Ice Cream back in your luggage! Have you visited our Where to Buy page recently? You might already be able to find it in a store near you! You may even be able to find some Tillamook Yogurt… sorry it got confiscated. :(

    Robbi Says:

Hey, Guys, for my birthday LAST November (2011), this CA girl received 10 different flavors of Tillamook as a present. If you want flavor selection, find a Winco store. It seems like everything mentioned here is there, and I KNOW that terrific Carmel Butter Pecan is regularly available. What used to be a required annual detour from Idaho to Western Oregon for Tillamook ice cream on the return trip to CA isn’t a HAVE TO now. I can indulge at the Lakewood, CA Winco!

  34. avatar
    Laura Says:

    Hi Robbi,

That’s the best birthday present I’ve ever heard of! You’re right! Winco is a great place to look for Tillamook Ice Cream. For other locations and more specific information, don’t forget to check our Where to Buy page. We’re happy to hear that you are successfully finding Tillamook Ice Cream near you now. Hopefully you’ll still make a detour to Oregon every once in a while to visit!

We lived in Washington for 5 years and my husband became completely addicted to your ice cream, along with all the dairy products carried in the grocery store. We moved 2 years ago to Arizona and my husband went through massive withdrawls. I had a good friend who was traveling to California and I had her buy 4 gallons of ice cream for him for his birthday. I have never seen him that excited over a gift. Now if only you can carry it in Arizona!

  36. avatar
    Kelly Says:

Hey Jeri! Thanks so much for being a Tillamook fan! I love to hear how people get access to Tillamook products when they move far away! Have you tried using this Where to Buy link to help you find ice cream near you? I hope that helps!

    Jeffrey Knapp Says:

Hi. I was delighted to find that Tillamook makes ice cream seeing it at my local Vons the other night. I purchased the Marionberry Pie flavor. I found it to be sweet and flavorful but, not all that smooth. It was kind of grainy actually. Is this how it is suppose to be? Or is it possible something happened to it in shipment or storage (was allowed to partially melt)?

    Thanks.

    –JK–

    Kelly Says:

    Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks for the comment! Tillamook strives to make the best ice cream we can! I’m sorry yours was not up to snuff! Can you contact us here, so we can get to the bottom of the problem?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!!! For coming to So Cal. Used to live in Vancouver, Washington… Couldn’t leave Fred Meyer’s without SOME flavor of Tillamook ice cream. Strawberry was the best ever eaten, but, then, every flavor is the best….Mountain Huckleberry, Vanilla Bean, all of it. Can’t wait to go shopping again. I’m a happy girl again!
