Jason, why do you love Tillamook?

Home Sweet Land of Tillamook Cheese
Our Loaf Love Tour is coming to a close, but there have been amazing memories and never-going-to-forget-them moments in every city we visited!
Who can forget getting pulled over by the police officers in San Antonio while cruising in our Baby Loaf Buses?
Or the actual scary experience of living through a cheese-centered tornado in Dallas?

How about the yumtastic homemade Tillamook dinner courtesy of our broker in Salt Lake City?

And one of our extra special fans with more visits to the Loaf Love Tour than any other – James from Phoenix!
As great as this journey has been, we are all so excited to head home to Oregon where we can once again be in the land of all things Tillamook. Your Brand Ambassadors are looking forward to enjoying Hot Habanero Jack Cheese, Pumpkin Ice Cream from the Cheese Factory Ice Cream Counter, all the flavors of our new Light Yogurt, and most importantly a perfectly grilled World’s Best Medium Cheddar Cheese sandwich made with Mom’s special ingredient – lots of loaf love! It’s great to be going home!
A Taste of the Northwest
This past weekend the Loaf Love Tour was at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah. There was a lot of excitement surrounding our day at the Zoo – not only did the first 100 people dressed in their cheesiest Tillamook orange get in for free, but we also provided free cheese, coupons, smile sticks, and a whole bunch of fun! It also seems as if we brought a little bit of our Northwest weather.
After getting little or no rain the last few months, the Utah sky decided to open up and deliver a nice little rain shower. Being from the Northwest, I felt right at home and it was a much needed break from the 100 degree weather! And to my surprise, the downpour didn’t faze the Tillamook faithful in the slightest! Without missing a beat, our tents were surrounded by people wanting their share of the tasty Tillamook Cheese samples… over 13,000 samples in fact!
It just goes to show you that rain or shine, Tillamook Cheese and the Loaf Love Tour are an amazing experience!

Extra Cheesy Peach Days
The highlight of Brigham City’s Peach Days… Was it the rides? The food booths? The vendor tables? We think it was Tillamook Cheese! Whether it was at the parades or at the booth, there was a certain kind of energy and excitement that surrounded us. The Yums, as always, were a huge draw, and the Loafster in particular created a lot of buzz that echoed throughout all of Peach Days. Stories of cross country drives, struggles when climbing hills, and even stories of an occasional car fire were told by fellow VW owners. The Tillamook bean bag toss was fun for all ages, the buttons and the coupons were a huge hit; and the cheese, ahhhh, the cheese! Not only did each and every person that sampled our cheese leave with a smile, but the taste of the world’s best medium cheddar inspired hundreds to tell us their stories of how much fun they had when they visited our Cheese Factory. Some visit our factory on an annual basis and some haven’t been there for 30 years. But regardless of the time since their last visit, everyone recalls the experience with a smile.
Peach Days was a fun filled two days that came to an end far too soon. Being able to share in the enjoyment with Tillamook fans at events like this is the best thing about being a Brand Ambassador; and boy did Peach Days deliver! Thank you Peach Days, and thank you Utah, for welcoming us with open arms. I truly can’t wait for a return trip next year!
Next stop for the Loaf Love Tour: Denver! Let’s see if you can fill the shoes left by your predecessors in Utah. Hope you’re up for the challenge!

Loaf Love Tour – How We Spend Our Days Off
So, everyone knows that the Loaf Love Tour Brand Ambassadors work 5 days a week to bring tasty cheese to the people and to share the Loaf! But, you might find yourself asking, “What do Jason and the rest of the team do on their days off?” Well, aren’t you in luck… I’m here to set the record straight!
Over the first two months of the tour, the Loaf Love Tour team has become very close, so close in fact that even after we spend five long days together we still want to hang out on our days off. Whether it is a sporting event, going for a challenging hike, dinner out on the town, or even a lazy day at the pool, we always have a good time together!
Now, don’t get me wrong, we all have different interests and do branch out on our own every once in a while. There is Noelle the sightseer; she seems to love whale watching. Then we have Susan the food critic, and Kelly the pancake chef; Tyler the thrill seeker and Andrea the lap swimmer (how she swims for hours on end, I don’t know). Then we have Jenn… What can I say about Jenn except that she has the most energy of anyone I have ever met! She’s the perfect partner when it comes to doing intense workouts! Last, and most certainly not least, there is myself! I am a huge sports nut, so when not with the team, you can find me on the basketball court or the golf course, honing my skills for my next career in either the NBA or on the PGA Tour.
As you can see, we are all characters in our own right, but together we make up a team! So look for us on the road and stay tuned in for all of our adventures, both on and off the clock. Who knows, maybe we will all be feeling like a thrill one of these days… skydiving anyone?

Wedded Loaf Love Bliss
When I started as a Brand Ambassador on the Loaf Love Tour, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew I loved Tillamook Cheese and I hoped to meet some people that I could introduce our cheese to for the very first time. Little did I know, I would meet people who loved our cheese so much that they would want it to be part of their wedding day!
I met Super Fans Lisa and her soon-to-be husband Joe at Fry’s in Tempe, Arizona. They were extremely excited to see Yum 2 – our super cool Baby Loaf VW Bus! Lisa is a photographer and was especially thrilled to take pictures and videos with Yum 2 to show how much she loves Tillamook. In fact, when we told Lisa and Joe about our new Loafster convertible, the soon-to-be newlyweds were so excited to see it in person, they invited us to drive it to their wedding! So Loafy hopped in the Loafster and headed out to join them on their special day; and Loafy did just that, joined them … in holy matrimony that is.
See you on the road!
