Good Morning Northwest – Starting the day with Ice Cream

Such a fun time here in Spokane, Washington!  The Loaf Love Tour arrived a few days ago and had such a great welcome from KXLY!  Kylie and Alyssa showed up for a short appearance on the early  morning news “Good Morning Northwest” which airs from 5am to 7am.  It was early, and totally worth it.  Mark Peterson, the weather anchor, and the morning team had a camera ready for us so we could show off the Yum and sample our tasty cheese.  We even brought ice cream with us as an extra treat.  Mark Peterson dove right into the Oregon Strawberry flavor and his team teased him about double dipping!  We had two other flavors, Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Mudslide, so there was plenty to go around for all.

What a fun experience to be on TV! We were chatting as the sun came up, sharing ice cream, and appreciating how lucky we are to be on tour.  We ended up doing several segments, so we could really talk up the Loaf Love Tour in more depth. We were even asked to tape some short teases for possible showing later that day.  We felt so special! Yet another great memory for us on the tour.

Hello Oregon!

Oregon Zoo

Brand Ambassador Till Lyssa feeding the ducks at the Oregon Zoo

After some great adventures in Texas and Arkansas, some of the Loaf Love team headed back to Oregon to head up the Northwest part of the Loaf Love Tour. We were glad to spend Father’s Day near home, visit with our dads, and have the opportunity to be at the Oregon Zoo for the day. The weather cooperated for us too – no rain at all!

A couple of days before the Zoo event, we got a sneak peak at some of the animals while chatting with a local TV station, KGW. We were at the zoo at dawn to be on the early morning news and I loved being there while the park was empty and the animals were just waking up. The ducks seemed to be especially active early in the morning – they were excited for their chance to be on TV and to eat some Tillamook Cheese!
