Hooray for the holiday weekend! What’s everyone up to? I know one thing I’ll be doing for sure — making a sundae bar with Tillamook Sticky Bun Ice Cream!

From Wade R.: Checking in from Louisiana. I am a transplant from WA who grew up on the loaf. Just letting everyone who currently cannot get Tillamook know, hang in there because yesterday it showed up in my local grocer and I outwardly cried tears of joy! My wife was concerned, I tried to explain but to no avail. We got out to the truck, I found the loaf, pulled out my pocket knife and we ate. We ate and I cried some more!

We have a 1-year-old and recently bought a cheap pack of medium cheddar cheese… and when I gave a slice to my daughter, she gagged, spit it out, and gave what was left in her hand to the dogs. Just went to the store and bought a big ol’ block of Tillamook and our daughter gobbled it down like it was her first meal in weeks!! So, even new taste buds know the difference between yucky immatation cheddar and the BEST. Tillamook rocks!!!

During this warm and bright encounter I conveyed to them my undying love for Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese! Thank you for sending them out to share the joy of Tillamook. They did a wonderful job: great smiles, teaching some more history of the people who produce Tillamook Cheese, and telling me of various other ways to use the product beyond what I presently use it for. They were also kind enough to let me try and capture my personal enthusiasm for Tillamook on video in hopes to let you all know what a wonderful job you do… also I constantly tell other people of your superior product and that it would be well with them to use/experience it!

There seems to be a theme going on lately – kids love Tillamook Cheese! How great is this picture? All this little girl wanted for Christmas was a huge loaf of Tillamook Medium Cheddar (I think her dog might want a bite, too!). It looks like she can barely hold it on her own!
