Looks like this little guy had a GREAT time at the Cheese Factory!

Here’s a recap of some of my favorite recent fan comments. Thanks for another fun month of cheesy conversations!

-Loafy

TWITTER:

From @tonyaswank: I’m glad @TillamookCheese is there to add a happy tweet to my Twitter feed. Otherwise the world would look quit bleak today.

From @ClioMouse: Bring me some @TillamookCheese curds! I’ll pay you in cash in an empty parking lot. :) But really.

From @Brienne: Vote for my date to Alisa’s wedding Saturday: A) Louie the Chihuahua, B) A package of Tillamook Swiss slices, C) Old dude I met in Glacier.

From @puckthecorgi: @TillamookCheese Your vintage white makes even cancer meds taste good! Well, okay, not GOOD, but certainly BETTER

FACEBOOK:

From Harrison F.: I would like to thank everyone who is a part of Tillamook and the special care and artisan craftsmanship that could only be a part of the exclusive Tillamook name, brand, and cheese makers. Being a winner in the September contest of the cheesemaking quiz with the gift box of both cheeses I know and relish and those I find exquisitely new. I could not appreciate such a chance and perhaps a little luck at what all at Tillamook has given to me, especially the cheese :). Thank you all and especially Laura Schatz.

From James H.: I pledge allegiance to the cheese of the great state of Oregon, and to the flavour for which it stands, many loaves in my tummy, divisible, with great texture and the best taste for all.

From Jamie H. (a service person in Afghanistan): Afghanistan’s a great place, but its in poverty of my native Tillamook’s delicious cheese. Hopefully by getting some, and sharing it with the Afghan leaders I work with, we can make Tillamook cheese an important part of the peace process here.

From Erica F.: My son was so excited to get to see the cheese being wrapped up and thought it was even cooler when he got waved to by one of the employees haha :) Thanks for the wonderful experience! (photo above)

From VeNicia G.: I would give my left arm for a year’s supply of Tillamook cheese. Maybe even the right one. For sure, if it included ice cream & yogurt! I moved away from the PNW, but Tillamook in my store here makes me feel at home…CHEEEEESY? perhaps. But TRUE. =oP

From Eric G.: Ever want to stir things up a little? Try packing a baby loaf or two in your carry-on when you fly home from Tillamook area. Let’s just say that the TSA guys told me it looks a little too much like bricks of C4 (explosives) for them — no fun. When I got home and ate on it, though, it was certainly worth the trouble!

Now I’m desperately craving ice cream! Don’t forget to stop by the store this weekend to pick up some Tillamook Ice Cream for our Ice Cream Photo Contest (winner gets 12 free cartons of Tillamook Ice Cream!).

This adorable, Tillamook-loving pup entered our "Tricks for Cheese" contest last fall.

Well, the sun finally decided it was tired of hiding behind the clouds here in Oregon – what a beautiful week we’ve had! Thanks for adding even more sunshine to my life with all of your Loaf-love filled comments and conversations this week. Now go out and enjoy the sun (if it’s still around!).

Love,

Facebook (pet-themed comments!):

From Sam G.: The first time I brought Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream out to Iowa, I was eating a bowl when my cat Bandit came into the room with this wide-eyed look and her nose very active. She looked around, determined where it was coming from, and headed straight for the bowl. It was the one time she ever reacted to food that way.

From Kevin K.: My boxer, Kobe Beef – he appears like a genie when you open the door and take out the Tillamook Sharp Cheddar for grating onto a sandwich. I think his favorite thing in life is spilled grated cheese.

From Tim T.: I had and Abyssinian Cat (since passed on to kitty heaven) used to do chin-ups on the bread board for Tillamook Cheese. We called them “chin-ups for cheese.”

From Tina B.: My cat Smoky has what we have dubbed “cheese-dar” and can tell when we are getting out a block, slices or sticks of cheese. If he’s asleep on the other end of the house he’ll wake up and come running, begging for a piece, a morsel, or (jackpot!!) an actual bite! He has taught our 1 year old kitty to do the same.

From Janet H.: My cat, Sonja, goes nuts for Tillamook Cheese. If I’m snacking on some, I have to cut an extra half-slice for her. She knows either the smell or the wrapper sound, and won’t give me any peace if I take the cheese out of the fridge and she doesn’t get hers.

Twitter:

From @louisgray:  Our beagle once ate half a block of Tillamook Cheddar Cheese and buried the rest in the couch.

From @astute_rhett: Enjoyed the greatest ice cream ever this week while on the West Coast, Tillamook Creamery’s Grandma’s Cake Batter. It is an experience!

From @Adryz87: My coworker just bribed me with Tillamook Cheese! #ImTooEasy

From @mmosner: So happy to be indulging in PNW cheeses again. Last night I literally cradled a loaf of Garlic White Cheddar@TillamookCheese. #cheeseplease

From @PnPArtistMary: @TillamookCheese – Thanks for the follow! I’ve never been chased by cheese before; I’m usually the one pursuing the cheese on EVERYTHING!
