Cheese So Yummy It Makes You Dance!

This week Noelle and I took on the challenge of capturing the best yum dance Orange County had to offer. If you’re wondering what a yum dance is, it’s the joyous reaction someone incurs when they eat a delicious piece of Tillamook Cheese!

We see hundreds of people every week, most of whom LOVE cheese. So we figured if there was a winning yum dance to be found, we could definitely find it at the Loaf Love Tour sampling kiosk! Megan and Casey took home the crown this week for their yumtastic, baby loaf juggling, dancing routine!

Jack vs. The Other Guy

While we always love to hear about how people enjoy our cheese, we especially like to hear about Monterey Jack. We think it’s the jack of all trades in the kitchen! That’s why we loved this taste test from the Food Manufacturing team (based in cheesy Wisconsin, no less)! Food Manufacturing is a food industry publication that covers new products, and when we let them know about Tillamook Monterey Jack’s fresh formula and extra meltability, they decided to put it to the test!

KGW Great Food Drive Omelet Breakfast

It’s always fun working with Drew Carney and camera man Steve at KGW NewsChannel 8. I don’t know how Steve keeps up with Drew’s high energy. After this segment, Drew mentioned that his favorite Tillamook Cheese is by far our Pepper Jack. In addition to the tuna noodle casserole he boasts about in this segment, he told me he served asparagus with melted Pepper Jack on top and his kids loved it! I’ll have to give that a try.
