You're welcome, Chelle! We took an extra long time perfecting the recipe so we're happy to hear that you love Tillamook Light Yogurt. Hope you didn't have to dig in the garbage too long to find the lid. :) Thanks for being a fan of Tillamook!

Love love love!! I don't eat "regular" sweetened yogurt because of the calorie bomb they are. I eat it plain with a little fruit or honey and nuts...that being said, I was delighted to see you had a light yogurt and even more excited when I saw it contained stevia instead of toxic chemical sweeteners. I just put down my empty cup of Mountain Huckleberry Light and I had to dig my lid out of the trash to find your website!! "Wow!" and "Yum!" were the first things that popped in my head, then joy that I bought one of each of the flavors.... Thank you for a fantastic calorie-light flavored yogurt!

Your regular yogurt is WAY too sweet. I could not justify feeding that much sugar to my children or myself for that matter, although it was tasty. I just saw your light product and was excited to see it was sweetened naturally with Truvia. I was disappointed when I read it had erythritol in it as well and did give my children digestive problems. Also, it does have an unappealing flavor to it.

I would beg you to consider another option which would be to make your regular yogurt with fruit on the bottom. that way, the consumer can be in control of how much sugar they intake.

Also, why are the live active cultures not included on the packaging? I would like to know how many what kinds. Thank you!

I love all of your yogurts! My daughter still enjoys the regular yogurt and I love the light. I have been using Stevia in my coffe for years now, so I do not detect any medicinal ickky flavors as a couple of people have referred to above. It is a different tasting sweetener... but sooo much better for you than many on the market today. The erythritol mentioned by a few above has an extremely low glycemic index so for people with Diabetes this seems like a positive thing. It is my understanding that since it is primarily absorbed directly into the blood, not the small intestines, it tends to produce less intestinal stress than other sugar alcohols. All I know is I LOVE THIS NEW YOGURT!

Tillamook yogurt is my favorite and the only yogurt I buy. I was excited to try the new light variety Northwest Berry Patch. Unfortunately, I do not like the taste of the erythritol sweetener and will not eat anything containing it. I now know to look for this ingredient before purchasing. The medicine like taste is awful and the aftertaste doesn't go away for a long time. The texture of the yogurt was nice and I do appreciate the efforts in trying to make a healthier yogurt for us consumers. I asked a couple coworkers to try it, they didn't like it either. Yikes! I must toss out the other varieties I purchased of the light yogurt, but I remain a fan of the regular yogurt.

Hi Bill,

Good question! The cultures in our Light Yogurt and Low-Fat Yogurt come from different suppliers and are slightly different. Hope that helps!

Does the Light Yogurt contain the same bio strains as your regular yogurt? I ask because they are listed on the regular, but no on the Light packaging.
