For those of you who have been dying (mwaa haa haaa) to dress up like Loafy, one of our dairy cows, or this year’s pride of the Loaf Love Tour, the Loafster convertible — now’s your chance!
Create a Halloween costume that represents Tillamook (cheese, ice cream, yogurt, sour cream, butter, cows, Tillamook dairy farmers, the Cheese Factory, Loaf Love Tour Brand Ambassador, or one of our Loaf Love Tour VW Baby Loaf Buses…you get the idea!) and you could win a year’s supply of Tillamook Cheese. Got an urge to do the Muenster Mash? Or channel your inner cow that goes…”Boooo!?” Tillamook orange and black are our favorite colors (hint hint)? Be creative, and cheesy!
How to Enter:
1) Read the official contest rules
2) Share a photo of your Tillamook-inspired Halloween costume on Facebook or Twitter (use @TillamookCheese and the hash tag #Tillaween) by midnight on October 31st.
Entries will be voted on by our Fans through Facebook by midnight Thursday, November 3.
- 1st place: Year’s supply (12 coupons) of Tillamook Cheese
- 2nd place: Tillamook sweatshirt
- 3rd place: Tillamook t-shirt
Three winners will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and our Blog on Friday, November 4.

I decline the offer to enter your contest.
I won’t enter any contest that makes the requirement of winning by ‘popular’ vote. There are so many people on the internet that get others to vote for them without critiquing the subject at hand.
So sad because I have ideas on GREAT costumes having to do with your theme and I have won many Halloween contests because of my creativity.

Hi there, Laura! Thanks for your feedback and comments about our costume contest. I can see your point, and we have offered contests that didn’t involve voting by our Fans. But this time we chose to involve our audience as we know they enjoy participating. I’m sure you create some pretty fabulous costumes. Maybe you’ll share them with us another time. It says “JUDGING Winners will be determined by Tillamook Cheese, Inc. Entries will be judged on the basis of photo quality, composition, creativity, and consistency with the Tillamook brand reputation.” in the official rules..so is it Fan #’s on the pics or Tillammok Cheese that will select the winners??

I understand those concerned about the voting, but I’m pretty sure that most of the people who would enter are probably die hard Tillamook fans. So if they want to win cheese so badly they get people to vote for them, who can blame them? Besides, being a native Tillamooker I have confidence that if someone with a particularly genius costume was denied a win, TCCA would take it upon themselves to add an honorable mention or a Tillamook Team choice prize.

Oh! I’m so depressed. My son went as Tillamook cheese but we had no idea about the contest! We love cheese and grew up on Tillamook. He said he wanted to be “cheese” for Halloween and it naturally followed that he’d be bright orange!
A friend saw our photos on facebook and told me about the contest today, but alas, I’ve missed the deadline.
