Bake seasonal fruit into a decadent and colorful dessert with our Sweet and Buttery Persimmon Crumble. This rich and buttery crumble brings the warm and spicy flavors of fall to your #RealFoodSunday.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Wash, core and slice the persimmons.
In a bowl, mix the sugar, spice, and flour together.
Toss the sliced persimmons in the mixture.
Squeeze the juice from the clementine over the bowl and toss again to fully coat the persimmons.
Layer the persimmons in a greased baking pan and set aside.
Next, coarsely chop the stick of butter.
Mix all remaining topping ingredients together in a bowl.
Add the chopped butter and cut it into the mixture using a fork. Once cut in, work the mixture with your hands to ensure that the butter and dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Squeeze the mixture together with your hands to create chunks of the crumble topping and spread the crumble over the persimmons evenly.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the topping is brown and the filling is bubbling and juicy.
Serve warm and enjoy!
