Movie Night Cheese Fondue
Inspired by my favorite holiday movies, this cozy beer cheese fondue only gets better as it sits. It feeds a crowd, so make sure to have a crowd of movie watchers to share it with!
Ingredients
32 ounces Tillamook Sharp Cheddar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
12 ounces non alcoholic beer
Salt and pepper to taste
In a food processor or by hand, grate the Tillamook cheddar. Set aside.
Place a small fondue pot or small pot over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
Add in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, honey and smoked paprika and stir to combine. Add the flour and mix into a paste.
Pour the milk in ¼ cup at a time, stirring often to create a smooth paste.
Pour in all of the beer and bring the mixture to a simmer.
As the mixture is simmering, stir in the cheese about ½ cup at a time. Taste and season with salt and pepper as preferred.
Tip: This cheese dip will thicken as it sits. Serve with your favorite fondue dippers like bread, pickles, potatoes and cold cuts.
