Ingredients
1 white onion
2 jalapenos
8oz Tillamook Farm Style Triple Cheddar Blend Shredded Cheese
4 all-beef hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Start a fire in a charcoal grill.
Tip: Grilling over a live fire is the most fun and achieves the best flavor!
Slice onion and jalapenos. Slice hot dogs down the middle, being careful not to fully split the hot dog in half. Set aside jalapeños for garnish.
Place a cast iron pan on the charcoal grill and add olive oil, onions, and salt and pepper. Cook until desired doneness.
Grill the hot dogs inside facing down for 2 minutes, then flip and add as much Tillamook shredded cheese to the top as you like. Let melt for 3-4 minutes, then remove from grill.
Toast hot dog buns on the grill.
Assemble your hot dogs. Spread as much Tillamook Cream Cheese as you like to the inside of the bun, then top with the cheesy hot dog, grilled onions, and fresh jalapenos.
Enjoy!
