Tillamook Holiday Poundcake
Impress your holiday guests with this delicious recipe for Tillamook Holiday Poundcake! Made with Tillamook Butter and Sour Cream. Perfect addition to any festive celebration.
1 7oz container Tillamook Plain Cream Cheese Spread
3 cups sugar
2 tbsp vanilla
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp Chinese 5 spice powder
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Prep a large loaf pan with pan spray, and dust with flour.
In a stand mixer with paddle attachment add the Cream Cheese, butter, and sugar together on medium speed till creamed together.
Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
On low speed add the vanilla, and the eggs one at a time till mixed in well.
Slowly add the flour and 5 spice to the mixer in 2 additions scraping down the bowl to assure well mixed.
Pour batter into prepared pan, and place into oven on middle rack.
Bake for 90 minutes, and golden brown on top. The cake should spring back when fully cooked.
Serve the cake with Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream, and prepared fruit sauces.
