This easy-to-make sandwich is a delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese. It's made with Tillamook Sharp Cheddar, chopped tomatoes, and a hint of garlic and oregano. Enjoy!
1lb burger patties (4)
1 large thinly sliced Spanish onion
2 extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp sazon
1 tbsp adobo
1 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1⁄2 onion, sliced
1⁄4 cup mayo
1⁄4 cup ketchup
4 rolls of choice
Add butter to pan until melted add bread until toast about 2-3 minutes and remove.
In the same medium cast iron pan or griddle, add canola oil and turn heat up to medium high.
Add burger and onions to the pan season with adobo, sazon and pepper.
Using a spatula chop the meat and the onions until brown 5mins
Place the cheddar on top of the meat and place a lid on the pan to melt.
Add ketchup and mayo to a small bowl and mix until well combined
Place the toasted buns on a plate spread with ketchup and mayo top with chopped cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Serve immediately.
