Warm Peaches with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
There are not a lot of things better than warm, juicy, freshly grilled peaches served with cold Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream right on top. The peaches soften over the flame, developing a jammy, warm interior that contrasts with the Tillamook Vanilla Bean Ice Cream in an irresistible bite.
Ingredients
4 peaches, halved and pitted
4 tbsp Tillamook Extra Creamy Unsalted Butter, cubed
1⁄4cup maple syrup
1⁄4cup granulated sugar
2 sticks cinnamon
Salt
On a rimmed griddle or large skillet over medium low heat, arrange the peaches cut-side down.
Add the butter, maple syrup, sugar, cinnamon sticks and a pinch of salt.
Add 2/3 cup of water to the griddle and bring to simmer. Cook, reducing the heat as needed, for 8 to 10 minutes, until the peaches have softened slightly. If the skillet or griddle heats up too quickly, add a splash of water to cool down the surface and continue cooking until the peaches are jammy.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on the side.
