French Toast Grilled Cheese
Into a medium bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt until well combined. Heat pan over medium low heat and add 2 tbsp of Tillamook Extra Creamy Unsalted Butter.
Once melted dip 2 slices of bread into the mixture making sure to coat both sides and place in the pan. Cook for around 3-5 minutes or until a nice golden brown crust forms.
Flip and immediately add a slice of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese on each piece of bread. Cover with a lid and let melt and cook for another 2-3 minutes before carefully flipping the slices onto each other forming sandwich.
Cook for an additional minute on each side and serve immediately with whatever toppings you desire!
Inside Out Grilled Cheese
Grab 2 slices of bread and spread 1 TBSP of Tillamook Extra Creamy Unsalted Butter onto each slice. Flip and add 4 slices of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese, more or less depending on how you’re feeling.
In a pan set over medium heat add another tablespoon of butter and once melted and bubbling place the sandwich. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes stirring the sandwich occasionally to develop and even crust. Flip and repeat on the other side.
Remove from the pan and place down 2 slices of cheese directly on the pan. Let those melt for about 30 seconds before returning the sandwich placing it on top. Let it cook undisturbed for another 2-4 minutes or until the cheese becomes caramelized.
Carefully lift with a spatula, place down another 2 slices and flip the sandwich on top repeating the caramelization process.
Remove and serve warm with some tomato soup or just on its own!
Grilled Cheese Chips
Preheat your oven to 375 F. Cut the crust off of 8 slices of white bread. On top of 4 slices add some Tillamook Mexican 4 cheese shreds, not too much so it's easy to close.
Place another slice of bread on top and use a rolling pin to flatten as thin as you can get them without tearing. Then cut into 4 triangles per sandwich and place on a lined baking tray.
Optionally spray with some oil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool on the tray until the melted cheese hardens a bit and the chips can be removed in one piece. Enjoy on their own or with optional dipping sides!
