Boardman Food Pantry Volunteers

The Boardman Food Pantry is a lifeline for the community. On July 18, 2025, a fire destroyed the pantry, interrupting weekly food assistance for nearly 200 families who rely on their support to put food on the table. As they rebuild, we partnered with other local businesses to support the pantry at their temporary location with $32,780 in product donations, direct financial assistance and volunteer hours.

Lifting Spirits During a Shutdown

The Tillamook Market at the Portland International Airport (PDX) is uniquely positioned to introduce the Tillamook brand to travelers from around the world. But, during the 2025 government shutdown, our care landed a little closer to home. As TSA and FAA employees found themselves working without pay, our Tillamook Market and Tillamook plant employees worked together to stock the TSA pantry fridge with 2,240 lbs of cheese, keeping these essential workers fueled throughout the shutdown.

Unexpected Pint-Sized Visitors

The Tillamook Creamery visitors center on the Oregon Coast is a fantastic place to get an up-close look at how our delicious dairy products get made. It’s also the only TCCA location open to the public. But when a van of excited kids mistakenly arrived at our Decatur, Illinois, manufacturing facility thinking they’d scheduled a tour there, our Quality Assurance team didn’t let the 2,000-mile mix-up get in the way of a delicious day. The team treated the kids to a full-on taste test of Tillamook Ice Cream, along with stickers, coloring books and more to make their day extra delicious.

The Inside Scoop on Mentorship

Tillamook Coworkers

Two years in, we can confidently call the TCCA mentorship program a runaway success. Nearly 100 employees have joined the program, stepping out of their comfort zones in the pursuit of growth. For participants across the organization, it’s also imbued them with the confidence to break barriers and reach higher than they thought was possible.

Tillamook Coworkers

“It’s incredibly powerful to have someone see more in you than you’re able to see in yourself,” says Shannon Blanc Tivona, Executive Business Partner for Member Operations. “My mentor saw potential where I felt uncertainty, and I was able to borrow her confidence long enough to take a leap I never expected.”

Our mentorship program is built to encourage employees to grow together, rather than compete. As Kristin Holleran, Senior Director of Operations, puts it, “We view each other as teammates, just leaning on each other and utilizing each other’s experiences.”

As the program continues to grow, it’s clear our mentors get as much out of it as they put in. 58% of our 2025 mentors are returning in 2026 to help more employees find career growth and uplevel into new roles at TCCA.
