Crispy Cheese Skirt Cheesesteak
Grilled cheese meets a Philly cheesesteak on this cheesy twist of your new favorite comfort food sandwich.
Ingredients
1 steak, thinly sliced
1 sweet onion, chopped
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
Tillamook Extra Creamy Unsalted Butter & olive oil
Salt & black pepper, to taste
4 Tillamook Provolone Cheese Slices
Sandwich roll
Sauté the onions: Melt butter in a skillet and cook the chopped onion until softened.
Cook the steak: Add thinly sliced steak, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until browned.
Add the peppers: Stir in the sliced yellow bell pepper and cook until tender.
Make it cheesy: Add Tillamook Provolone Slices and stir until everything is perfectly melty.
Assemble: Fill your sandwich rolls with the cheesy steak mixture.
Create the cheese skirt: Sprinkle Tillamook Mozzarella and Triple Cheddar Blend into a skillet, using the cheese skirt frame to shape it. Let it melt until golden, bubbly, and crispy.
Finish: Place your sandwich on the crispy cheese skirt, gently lift it out of the pan, and enjoy!
Tip: For that perfectly crispy cheese skirt, let the cheese melt and bubble until the edges turn golden brown before lifting it from the pan. This gives you that delicious crunch without the cheese falling apart
